Here are three new pages, after over a month of waiting.
Why the month of nothing? Well, believe it or not, I actually drew a crapton of comics - you just haven't gotten to see most of them. Here's how things shook out:
* Shortly after the last update,
I provided four pages of hastily scrawled art for my good buddy Petie and the Blind Date event at Comixpedia.
* After that, I threw myself into drawing five pages for Keenspot's Free Comic Book Day book. Funny story about that - I didn't finish them in time, leaving me with five penciled and inked pages that couldn't go in the book but also don't really fit online. Whoops.
* After that, I penciled and inked two pages of Andie and Martina throwing down before I realized that I couldn't draw fight scenes to save my life. Thus, I scrapped that art (as well as the layouts for the remaining two fight pages) and drew the page twenty-five that now appears online.
* I then began alternating between the next two online pages and three pages of something I'll mention in a minute.
So, as you can see, it's actually been an INSANELY BUSY month of art... you just didn't get most of it.
Now HERE'S THE REALLY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. The next update will be four pages, and they'll be up hopefully quick. After that update, you'll get the five pages I drew for FCBD. They don't really fit very well in Flint Again right now, but they serve a purpose that you'll learn later. Then, after those nine pages, sometime near the end of April, I'm returning to my roots and making Flint Again a daily comic strip.
Let me repeat that in case you weren't paying attention.
FLINT AGAIN IS BECOMING A COMIC STRIP THAT UPDATES EVERY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.This will undoubtedly kill me, but I feel it must be done, for reasons I'd just as soon not explain right now, since this post is already way too long. In any event, enjoy, won't you?
